CARAUCCI brought me on in early 2025, and I was tasked with increasing Ad ROAS while decreasing Ad Spend as well as streamlining new arrivals email content strategy with the goal of increasing total conversion value.

METHODS. Analyzed past performance by campaign, audience and ad. Identified key areas of opportunity and optimization low-hanging fruit.

RESULT. Be ready to share formatted ad and email assets, campaign naming conventions, landing page URLs and other details in a checklist I will provide.

I don’t have a strategy. Will we develop one?

I provide assignments designed to define your media, message and targeting strategy, but you will be responsible for leading your e-commerce sales strategy including promo offer amounts, incentives, etc. I will always suggest alternatives and provide explanations if necessary, but you will have the final say. Both of my campaign management services include light ad and email strategy, but If you need more in-depth strategic guidance, consider my Strategy Consulting service before investing in campaigns.

What will we accomplish in 3 months?

That depends on where you are with your marketing, but in best case scenario, tons of sales! If you’re just starting out, the workflow might look like this:

  • Month 1 - we build foundations, evaluate assets, define goals and set strategy
  • Month 2 - create, build and test audiences and creatives
  • Month 3 - launch, and optimize campaigns 

By month 3, you will have a framework for attracting and converting prospects. If you already have the framework, strategy and system, I analyze your past performance and we jump straight into campaigning.

What is a good/minimum ads budget?

This depends on factors like Average Order Value and your growth goals. With new accounts, I start at $500 monthly spend until audiences are optimized and there's enough conversion data to scale up. A consistent $1K-$2K monthly spend for a year usually returns at least 3-4x in sales.

What counts as a unique ad?

A unique ad is:

  • Media Selection for auto-placement, seasonality/ relevance
  • On-brand graphic design (for a brand or sales ad, for example)
  • Messaging (ad copies)
  • Call to action/ UTM links

I will often pair 3 images with 1 set of copy to test for the best creative. These selections are variations and do not count as unique ads.

For 3 images with 3 sets of copy, this would be 3 unique ads.

What counts as a unique email?

A unique email is:

  • Media Selection for relevance, desktop+mobile..
  • On-brand graphic design
  • Messaging (subject, preview text, body text)
  • Product/ collection blocks
  • Call to action (buttons)

This could be one email from an automation series.

If an email is sent 2x+ with different subjects/ preview texts, but the same body content - this counts as 1 unique email.

How soon can you execute a campaign?

For an ad campaign, I require 10 business days.

For an email campaign, I require 5 business days.

For a multi-channel campaign, I require 15 business days lead time for proper execution.
